Third STIMESI Workshop on MEMS and Microsystems Research and Teaching
Kaiserstejnsky Palace, Prague, Czech Republic
13 November 2009

This year the STIMESI Workshop will be held in Prague, at the beautiful Kaiserstejnsky palace.

To get an idea of the workshop format, take a look at previous issues of this one day workshop which were held in Leuven (2007) and Berlin (2008).

All the presentations of the former workshops can be viewed again online. Visit the Workshop pages to find more material...

Registration to the workshop is free of charge. If you're not yet registered, take the time to do it now.

Prior to the Workshop in Prague, STIMESI will run a three day training course on the Tronics Process technology, at the Czech Technical University in Prague (10-12 November). If you wish to attend both the Workshop and the training course, please book your place on both events separately.

Training News

Our Tronics Process technology course takes place just before the STIMESI Workshop, also in Prague, at the Czech Technical University. Take the opportunity to combine a visit to the Workshop with this course in one trip!

Project abstract

The goal of the STIMESI Stimulation Action is to stimulate European universities and research institutes to adopt MEMS and SiP technologies in different ways.

First of all the “more experienced” universities active in MEMS design/technology will be stimulated to increase MEMS research activities and design and fabricate more MEMS circuits and SiP components.

Secondly it is also the goal of this Integrated Project to stimulate other universities to actively start teaching/research MEMS/SiP activities.

Stimulation of universities will be done through the organisation of training courses in different MEMS technologies, both theoretical and practical.

The project is running in close cooperation with Europractice Europractice logo
